The requests for the acquisition of gunpowder, explosives or explosive substances for consumption in mineral mass explorations are formalized with the Arms and Explosives Department of the Public Security Police, which entity is responsible for issuing the respective authorization (seronline.psp.pt/psp/login.pdc).

 

 

At the same time, the operator must request an opinion from the DGEG, by sending the Request for an Opinion on the Use of Gunpowder and Explosives in Quarrying to the email rg.pedreiras@dgeg.gov.pt , which will subsequently be sent directly to the Public Security Police, with notification to the applicant.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Operator Exams

The request for an operator examination of gunpowder, explosives or explosive substances for mineral mass exploration works is formalized with the Department of Arms and Explosives of the Public Security Police, which is responsible for issuing the respective operator's license.
