Granting Rights

The exploration and exploitation of mineral deposits granting rights (geological resources of the public domain of the State) are constituted by administrative contract, in the forms of prior assessment, of exploration and of experimental exploitation, in areas considered to be available and where there is no incompatibility with other activities and conflicting interests or values.

The application for the granting of exploration rights on the initiative of the interested party is made by submitting an application to DGEG containing the elements set out in the minutes, for each of the application types.
