Granting Rights Publication

DGEG, as national authority in the field of geological resources under the terms of its organic law (Decree-Law 130/2014, of 29 August, amended by Decree-Law 33/2016, of 28 June and by Decree-Law 69/2018, of 27 August) is responsible for exercising competences regarding the granting of revelation rights and the exploitation of mineral deposits, whose legal regime is set out in Law 54/2015, of 22 June, regulated by Decree-Law 30/2021, of 7 May.

Ongoing Requests

The attribution of mineral deposits rights (Prior Assessment, Exploration, Experimental Exploitation and Exploitation) is preceded by announcement according to the law. In this framework, the requests submitted to DGEG (including those for area’s adjustments) that are in public consultation phase or whose procedure is still in progress,  can be consulted in the following tables:

Tender Procedures

The tender procedures for mineral deposits exploration or exploitation rights under articles 17 and 18 of Decree-Law no. 30/2021, of May 7, are preceded by announcement according to the law.
