Assigned Rights
The prospecting and research contract guarantees its holder the right to carry out, in the area subject to the contract, the studies and works inherent to the prospecting and research of the resources over which the assigned rights fall, provided that it obtains, for this purpose, all the opinions, authorizations or licenses required by the applicable legal and regulatory norms.
The holder of the prospection and research contract carries out the work in accordance with the approved program, and must provide the DGEG with all the information that is directly and concretely requested of them and submit, on a half-yearly basis or at shorter intervals if contractually established, the work programs and progress reports, as well as requests to carry out mechanical surveys, in accordance with a duly substantiated work proposal.
