DGEG
The Energy Efficiency area is responsible for:
- Promoting and cooperating in the development of standards, regulations and technical specifications related to efficiency increase in the use of energy;
- Monitoring the technological evolution of final energy consumption equipment and promoting the dissemination of these developments;
- Promoting energy efficiency and the diversification use of primary energy sources;
- Ensuring compliance with current energy management legislation;
- Supporting, technically and technologically, consumers aiming at greater efficiency in the use of energy;
- Analyzing and issuing technical opinions on programs and projects for the management and conservation of energy and diversification of energy sources;
- Supporting the management of incentive and supporting schemes established at national or community level for endogenous resources and energy efficiency;
