Visit of Energy Experts from Serbia | March 2020
On March 3rd 2020, at DGEG's headquarters, an institutional visit of energy efficiency sector specialists from the Republic of Serbia to Portugal took place, which included several working meetings with national entities of the energy sector in the context of the "EU project Facility in Serbia", regarding energy efficiency initiatives, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of European Integration, Ministry of Mining and Energy and the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration of that country.
The meeting was organized by the Institutional Relations and Market Services Department in collaboration with ADENE and was attended by representatives from the Energy Sustainability Services Department and the Studies, Research and Renewables Division of this Directorate-General. DGEG addressed the institutional cooperation in the energy sector, energy efficiency policies and energy performance of buildings and ADENE presented the Energy Efficiency Program in Public Administration.
The Head of the Serbian delegation expressed particular interest in developing joint energy efficiency projects with the Portuguese authorities in energy performance of buildings based on Portugal's experience in regulating energy efficient buildings.
Visit of Energy Experts from Turkey | October 2019
In the context of the EU Program "Technical Assistance for Improvement of Performance - Based Tariff Regulation of EMRA for Turkish Energy Markets through Introducing on Enhanced Monitoring System", DGEG organized a technical meeting in October 2019, which included experts from the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) from the electricity and natural gas sectors. Technical visits were also organized to REN's dispatch centres.
Visit of Energy Experts from Turkey | fevereiro 2019
Under the European Commission's TAIEX Programme - Technical Assistance to Third Countries, a visit of a Turkish delegation, composed of representatives of the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), took place from February 4th to 7th, 2019, under the theme "Improvement of the Turkish Ticketing System of Oil Stocks". DGEG and the Turkish Delegation had the opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, through the organization of joint actions that included technical meetings with representatives of the Department of Institutional Relations and Market Services (DSRIM), Fuel (DSC) and Energy Planning and Statistics (DSPEE) and technical visits to ERSE, the National Entity for the Energy Sector, Marine Terminals and the Portuguese Association of Oil Companies, among others.
Visit of Energy Experts from Egypt | April 2018
Within the context of the European Commission's TAIEX Programme - Technical Assistance to Third Countries, a Study Visit of a Delegation from Egypt took place in Portugal from 16th to 18th April 2018, composed of representatives of the Gas Regulatory Authority - GasReg, on the topic "Liberalization of the Gas Market with Focus on Consumers' Eligibility Criteria. During the three days, meetings were held at DGEG and ERSE and technical visits were made to the REN Natural Gas Dispatch Centre in Bucelas and to the REN Atlântico Natural Gas Terminal in Sines.
